Organize You Closet
Have you ever left a sweater hanging up in your closet for a long period of time? When you finally decide to wear this favorite sweater of yours and remove it from the hanger, you find deep and permanent protrusions, like a giant, bulbous wart in the fabric. Unfortunately I have experienced this very incident with several of my sweaters and shirts. The cause? Cheap, generic hangers.
The right kind of hangers can actually make a big difference in the organization of your clothes and maintaining the form of your clothing. Not surprisingly, different types of hangers exist for specific use with various articles of clothing. For instance there are hanger styles for coats, suits, pants, and other clothing which provide better fits and avoid those nasty fabric indents often caused by the cheap stuff.
Standing in my closet the other day, I suddenly realized that my clothes were in complete disarray. Shirts and pants crammed together, collars and sleeves bent between each other - a haven for wrinkles and disorganization. It was time to make a change. I separated clothing into categories and hung them neatly on hangers that fit the proper article of clothing the best that I could. When I finished I found that there was a lot more room for other clothes, less cramming, nicer organization, and not to mention that fixing the clutter put my mind at ease.
Whatever your situation may be, the right hanger can make a big difference in your closet. You can also make cool art sculptures, like a coat hanger gorilla.
